Cardiology

The Kailash Heart Institute has a state-of-the-art Cardiac Cath Lab (Integris Allura) from Philips (Netherlands). It has facilities for rotational angiography, angioplasty, electrophysiology, haemodynamic monitoring, atherectomy, stenting, balloon valvuloplasty, peripheral arterial intervention and deviced closure of congenital cardiac defects.

It is a 24-bed intensive care unit alongside the Cardiac Cath Lab including a 6-bed post-intervention unit. Beds in both the units are equipped with acute cardiac care monitors from Hewlett Packard (U.S.A.)

The CCU is supported with ventilators from SIEMENS (Germany), IABP (DatascopeXT-U.S.A.), blood gas analyzer (U.S.A.), ECHO and C-arm fluoroscopy for bedside cardiac procedures.

Treadmill (TMT) from MORTARA (U.S.A) with telemetry, Color Doppler ECHO (Sonos-4500) from Hewlett Packard (U.S.A.), Holter Recorder Analyzer from Hewlett Packard (U.S.A) and Pulmonary Function Lab (Morgan U.K.) constitute the dynamic lab where patients are evaluated non-invasively.

The Department of Cardiology has fullfledged set up for electrophysiology and pacing including biventricular pacing and AICD implantations. In addition to coronary, all other peripheral and cardiac interventional procedures are performed regularly.

Cardiology OPD Services
OPD services are available on all the days in a week, both morning and evening. OPD timings are -

• Morning  10.00 a.m. ~ 2.00 p.m.
• Evening 6.00 p.m. ~ 8.00 p.m. (Except Sundays).
