Department of Laboratory Medicine

The Department of Laboratory Medicine is headed by Dr. Ritu Vohra, M.D, Group Director-Laboratory Services. She has been involved in the upgradation of services and facilities of the Department of Laboratory Medicine in all the group hospitals.

A Post Graduate from the Government Medical College, Patiala, Dr. Vohra started her career with Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi.

Dr. Vohra is associated with various professional fora and is presently Secretary, Noida Association of Pathologists & Micro Biologists. She has attended various conferences and seminars on the subject.

The Hospital has a state of the art, ultra-modern laboratory, open 24 hours and 365 days a year. Ours is a highly sophisticated fully computerized lab with latest hi-tech instruments and back-up in all cases.

Sysmex K-4500 & Hmx Coulter along with automated ESR.

All routine and special biochemical investigations are done on Hitachi - 902 and Cobas Integra - 400 plus. Apart from Lipid Profile, Kidney Function Test, Liver Function Test etc. We have Extended Lipid Profile with Direct HDL & LDL, TIBC Studies, Ammonia, ADA, Lipoprotein (a), Homocysteine, Lactate etc.

Serum Electrolytes and Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) are done round the clock on Compact-3, AVL-9180 & Omni-C.

All Immuno-Assay are done on Elecsys - 1010, Elecsys - 2010 & Tecan Elisa Reader.

We have wide menu range including Thyroid Profile (Free and Total), Infertility Profile including FSH, LH, Prolactin, Estradiol, Testosterone, DHEAS etc.
Tumor Markers like PSA, Beta HCG, AFP, CA-125, CA-19.9, CEA, CA-72.4, CA-15.3 etc.
We also have Serum Vitamin B12, Folate, Feritin, Serum IgE, TORCH Profile, Hepatitis Markers.
All tests are done on urgent basis if required.

Apart form Routine Serology, Quantifieron, CRP, ASO, RA etc are done on Nephelometer.

We have full automated Microbiology Department with Bactec-9050 where growth is detected as early as 6 hours. Mini-API is there for rapid identification and sensitivity studies of cultures.

We have in-house Histopathology & Cytology Department with fully automation.

Lab is fully computerized along with Bidirectional Interfacing, Bar-coding eliminating all human errors.

Reports are available on Internet & Special Telephonic Service (IVRS) on Kailash Extn. 1066 & 348.

From Home Sample Collection and Delivery of Report at nominal charges.

To supervise, everything, we have full time Senior Pathologists & Microbiologist available from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm and at night on emergency basis.

Technical & Non-Technical Staff is highly qualified and experienced.
